ANHIX Fall Virtual Session

Please join us for a Virtual Session with Ryan Gallivan and Abdul Lawal from Alberta Health on Thursday, November 5^th at 4pm (MST).

Ryan Gallivan is the Acting Executive Director, Strategic IMT Services – Health at Government of Alberta.  He will provide us with an update on the Community Information Integration initiative (CII).  The primary goal of CII is to improve Albertan’s continuity of care across the health system through better access to primary care and community health information. To achieve this goal, the CII project collects patient data from physician offices and other community-based clinics and makes it available to other healthcare providers through Alberta Netcare. The information is also used to support quality improvement efforts and health system planning.   

Abdul Lawal is the Director of Consumer eHealth for Alberta Health.   He will update us on the latest MyHealth Record developments.   MyHealth Records is a Personal Health Record for Albertans to access some of their health information, such as lab results, medications, and immunizations drawn from Alberta Netcare. MyHealth Records also provides access to several health and wellness tools to help track and maintain overall health.
