Edmonton's "Health City" Initiative - This initiative was first announced in the Mayor’s 2016 State of the City address as a new strategy to propel Edmonton as a leader in health care innovation.  The plan aims to increase access to capital for local health sector companies and accelerate the commercialization of new technologies and products. Since the 2016 announcement, the City have gathered more than 70 leaders in the public, private and philanthropic sectors to bring this initiative to life.  Their strategic plan, now launched, will take a phased, momentum-building approach to positioning Edmonton as a world class health innovation city. With a common vision, the work in Edmonton is being accelerated to the marketplace with the goal of attracting and retaining top talent, funding and partnerships.
The day will begin with morning speaker sessions, followed by an afternoon of Texas Scramble golf, then dinner and prizes.

Please join us for a day that will be both informative and enjoyable.

The event is again being held at The Ranch Golf and Country Club which is located west of Edmonton on Stony Plain Road.  Turn south onto Pinchbeck Road (RR262) and the course is on the west side, approximately a mile down the road.
